Aulas wants to hand OL onto… Aulas
Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed his intention to hand on control of the holding company that controls Olympique Lyonnais to his son Alexandre.
Jean-Michel, who turns 69 in March, has already started succession planning at the club he’s presided over for more than 30 years, turning OL into a French power. Holnest, the holding company, is set to pass under the command of Alexandre, Jean-Michel’s only son.
Jean-Michel Aulas said: “Alexandre Aulas has the vocation and objective to follow on from me. It is made for him.”
Seven-time French champions OL are involved in a ferocious battle for second place in Ligue 1 Conforama with Monaco and Olympique de Marseille. OL have lost their last three league games to fade to fourth.
